Brief description:  Campground is located near Dorena Lake about five miles from the town of Cottage Grove, Oregon.  Located in grassy areas with trees/shade and other sites with sun.

Open Dates:  Approximately May through September

Number of Campsites:  62 campsites.  It also has double-family campsites as well as six group sites.  There are no power or water hookups at this campground.  However, flush toilets, drinking water, showers and a dump station are available. 

Length of Stay:  Unknown at this time.  However, reservations for weekends generally must include 2 days in advance and require 2 nights on weekends for single or double sites.

Fees:  Single site ranges from $16 to $32 per night (one vehicle).  (Standard non-electric).  Additional vehicles will pay an additional fee.

Take Exit 174 off of Interstate 5.  Go East on Row River Road for about 5 miles, the entrance to the campground will be on the left side of the road.

 General Description:  Near Cottage Grove, this is known as the “covered bridge capital of Oregon” as it is near six covered bridges in the area.  The campground is well cared for (at last visit) and has lawns, bushes, trees, trail along the lake and river.  There is a children’s playground with playground equipment where they can climb and explore.  Fishing, boating, hiking, biking, swimming are available.  Nearby Baker Bay County Park has a boat ramp and marina.

  

Nearby Services:  (groceries, medical, etc.)  Groceries, fuel, hospital are all located in Cottage Grove 5 miles from the campground.  Other medical facilities and services are available in Springfield, Oregon about 20 miles away.
